About Us
Church of the Ascension was organized in 1967. Our Bishop's Committee includes Bonny Miller, Bishop's Warden; Joe Kastendieck, Treasurer; and Ruth Lewis, Acting Secretary. Other Committee members are Annbert Honsinger, Al Erb, Ted Yarmouth, and Missy Roberts.
VISION STATEMENT
Church of the Ascension is a prayerful Episcopal community of people who believe in and celebrate the God who creates all things and all people; the Christ who loves us and forgives our sinfulness; and the Holy Spirit which empowers us to go out into the world to love and forgive. We are accepting and respectful of all persons. We serve the world within and beyond our walls. We strive to make Christ's teachings known to all.
